Samsung has released the Portable SSD T9 series, which is
now available in countries such as the United States and Germany. The device is
the brand's first PSSD to include a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, with read/write
rates of up to 2,000MB/s. This allows you to transmit a 4GB Full HD film in
roughly two seconds, making the new gadget twice as quick as its predecessor,
the T7.
The T9 has a USB 3.2 Gen 2x interface and comes in three
capacities: 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. According to Samsung, the SSD features a
"fabric-like feel" and a robust design that is resistant to drops
from heights of up to 3 m (9.8 ft). The item is covered by a five-year
warranty, and the brand's Dynamic Thermal Guard prevents overheating. The T9
can be managed using the recently released Samsung Magician Software 8.0, which
includes features like as performance benchmarks, security tools, firmware
upgrades, and health status.
The new software also adds Windows, Mac, and Android
support, and the T9 is compatible with a variety of Windows and macOS
smartphones, tablets, game consoles, and cameras. The small device is 3.5 x 2.4
x 0.6 in (88 x 60 x 14 mm) in size and weighs 4.3 oz (122 g). The 1TB, 2TB, and
4TB variants of the Samsung Portable SSD T9 are now available for US$139.99,
US$239.99, and US$439.99, respectively.
