With sequential read/write speeds up to 12,400/11,800 MB/s and random read/write rates up to 1,500 K IOPS, the previously stated cheap Crucial T700 variant boasts a small heatspreader. This SSD's hardware consists of 232-layer 3D TLC NAND chips from Micron.
The 4 TB model, designated CT4000T700SSD5, retails for US$499.99 and has a sizable aluminum and nickel-plated copper heatsink. This amount is 21% less than the US$629.99 list price, which, as with the model described previously, is also the price that the well-known pricing monitoring website Camelcamelcamel recorded on Amazon for it.
